Journal posting is one hobby I tried to shelve for almost a decade past. Since high school, posting through journal was my kind of play. Things that took place within the day and describing them on a limited one to two sentences or sometimes by just a phrase. It was a fascinating game I always love to play.
Posted through a pocket-size diary which started way back 1988, the practice has strangely given me a temporary balm. Journal posting using some recycled notebooks, those unused left-over pages of old notebooks patiently sewn back into one new notebook, all done for the passion of making notes.
In college, during examination in engineering subjects, unable to solve those given mathematical problems, and instead of solving those engineering problems, I had written pages of personal notes until the end of the period. Pure essays about the struggle of earning an elusive degree in engineering. Consequently those exams taken were all got flunked, and completed a degree in humanities instead.
Today if ask to chose, either solving or writing, the latter remains my choice.
